Have you ever met a person and the first thing you noticed was their fantastically, shiny, pearly white smile that just made the whole room glow?? Some people are just naturally gifted with it and I wish I could say I am one of those people..but sadly I am not.

I've always wanted a perfectly white smile, and although my teeth aren't terribly dull, they've never been as white as I want them to be. In the past, I had tried toothpaste that I thought would help, and a random whitening kit that someone passed along to me, but didn't have much luck with either. I was also weary to experiment with other systems because I was afraid of damaging my teeth, or start using something that would hurt them due to sensitivity.

When Smile Brilliant contacted me to collaborate and try their whitening system, I was so excited!!

What I really loved about this system was that it was a SUPER easy, very convenient in-home system that wasn't time consuming at all, and there was no hassel about it! (because really, I don't have the time to go to the dentist's office all the time!)

When I first got the kit, I was given the materials I needed to make impressions of my teeth. Once I sent them in and had them molded and sent back to me, I had my own trays that I would use consistently.

The kit also came with four syringes of whitening gel, and four syringes of desensitizing gel. To whiten my teeth, I was instructed to place a small dot of the whitening gel in my trays on each designated spot for each tooth, making sure to put it on the correct side that would sit on the front of my teeth. Once I put my trays in, I was free to do as I pleased!

The trays were clear so it was almost as if I was wearing a clear retainer. I didn't have to hold anything in place or put a paper towel in my mouth to make sure the bleach wouldn't drool down my throat (yes, I have done that before with a different system and I do NOT recommend it haha)

While using this system, I was able to keep my trays in for up to three hours. It is recommended to whiten at night before going to bed so that you don't ruin anything by eating food after, but you can really use them whenever is convenient!

My teeth are a bit sensitive so I whitened every other day instead of every day, but the real game changer was the desensitizing gel. That thing was a life saver! Whenever my teeth were hurting or "burning" because of the sensitivity, I would pop my trays in using the desensitizing gel instead of the whitening gel, and after an hour they would be feeling SO much better!


I loved my results from using this kit and am so happy with my new smile! Not only are the results amazing, but it's also super affordable compared to other systems I've looked into, so that's definitely a plus!
