Wow, what a busy month this has been! We've spent this October moving in and settling into our new apartment up here in Logan, Taylor has been busy with school, and we both started working new jobs, all while participating in this month's festivities (haunted houses, corn mazes, scary movie marathons, pumpkin carving, etc.) with a bunch of newly wed friends we've made- which we've been pretty successful in if I do say so myself haha.
This past weekend we both had a 4-day Fall break and were able to spend time with Tay's family, which is always fun! (Last LAST weekend we drove down for FOUR family parties. FOUR. I married into a bunch of party animals! But I'm definitely not complaining haha)
One whole side of Taylor's family came up to Logan and we spent the whole day eating our hearts out at the most amazing Indian restaurant, the Tandoori Oven, sampling all the cheese and milk at the Gossner's Cheese Factory, seeing all the animals at the Logan Zoo (I had no idea there was a zoo up here??), strolling through this year's Pumpkin Walk, fishing over at First Dam, and of course finishing the night with a meal from the Blue Bird Cafe. It was definitely a successful weekend. BUT. I haven't told you the best part yet.
Okay, maybe it's not the beeesstttt..but it's super cute and super fall haha. We spent a good 15 to 20 minutes flipping through Google and a bunch of random Instagram location posts to find this place, but we finally made it over to Kuwahara Farms, basically the cutest pumpkin patch you'll ever see!
Okay. It's not even a patch really, just a bunch of pumpkins sitting inside a greenhouse-type structure. Sounds dumb, I know. But my heart was so happy haha!
I can't believe there's less than a week left until Halloween! It always makes me so sad when October ends. I love decorating for Halloween, all the corn mazes and haunted houses, and especially making a million batches of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies...but November is right around the corner which is also my birthday month, so I'm not TOO sad (; haha
P.S. I had some time to meet up with my dear friend Marisa again and we had a girls' night, complete with a dinner trip to Olive Garden, hollaaaa! ($5.00 unlimited soup+breadsticks is life) We did another photo shoot in the woods which can be seen in my new '"photography" tab- check it out!
